Repatriation Program: Group Accident Policy with a Repatriation of the Remains Benefits Rider (Insurance)

When a loved one dies in the Unites States, the cost of returning the remains home for proper burial can be astronomical. As an example, the New York Times reports that is costs up to $3,500 or more to return a body to Mexico.

If the policyholder experiences a medical emergency, there is also a medical emergency benefit in addition to the Repatriation portion of the policy.

The Repatriation Program Benefit:

Up to $10,000 for the Return of the Body plus an additional $50,000 benefit in the event of an accidental death (any death not from natural causes)
